(1/6/2015) PhotoVision: Selections from a Decade of Collecting was on view at The Ackland Art Museum from September 2014 through January 4, 2015. The exhibition of about 150 photographs were acquired by the Museum over the last ten years. The photographs span the entire history of photography, and represent a wide variety of techniques.
In the final hour of PhotoVision at the Museum, Amanda Hughes (Ackland Director of External Affairs) and I lead a tour of the exhibition’s highlights. Amanda and I talked about our own perspectives on the works of art, and also encouraged the audience members to join the conversation.
I enjoyed being part of this event celebrating a remarkable exhibition, and am very grateful to the Ackland and Amanda for including me.
