Dear friends,
I was recently invited to be a guest speaker by The Jung Society of the Triangle, (on Zoom) during a recent Saturday Salon.

I greatly appreciated the opportunity to speak with likeminded people about my work and my artistic influencers.

It presented me with the challenge to trace my artistic journey through childhood and my professional portrait photography life to the present where I am pursuing my most authentic and personal work.

Preparing for this presentation gave me a chance to look back and see how myths and fairytales along with the writings of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell have influenced my artistic vision and inspired me to explore my own unconscious and translate those thoughts into my photomontage images.

I especially appreciated the discussion at the end of the Zoom presentation when the audience shared how my images had sparked their own thoughts and memories. I hope my art will continue to resonate with others and provide perspective for each one’s own Hero’s Journey.
